Be absorbed for 5 minutes by this hypnotic latest from Japanese director/animator Masanobu Hiraoka. The fluid style of his work remains in this gorgeous art piece that explores the notions of division and collision and collusion.
Although My New Animation is ultimately an abstract experiment, we love the way that the viewer is encouraged to create their own narratives. The use of simple figures and subtly composed shots create an evocative canvas for audiences to project their own interpretations. The music adds to the mesmorising nature of the strong vignettes, creating a brooding sense to the piece.
